Two of the best rooftop pools in Cartagena are at the Movich Hotel and the Bastion Luxury Hotel Both of these hotels offer amazing amenities and are tastefully decorated inside I stayed at both of these hotels while on vacation in Cartagena If you are trying to decide which hotel is right for you I will offer my honest opinion of the two I paid for each of these hotels with my own money so my opinion is my own and is not influenced by a free night stay The best views in Cartagena are on the rooftops of the old town Movich Hotel Rooftop Has the best views of the two You are close by the Iglesia de San Pedro and the Cathedral de Santa Catalina so you get a 360 view of these beautiful buildings The pool is open to the public and it can get a bit crowded during sunset because of the amazing views The pool itself is pretty small and the seating area isnt very large so it may be hard to get a lounger by the pool or a spot by the bar Bastion Luxury Hotel The Bastion doesnt have as nice a view of the old town buildings but still has an impressive view of the entire area The pool is quite a bit larger and the deck space and patio seating are abundant so you never have to worry about finding a lounger Their pool is NOT open to the general public so you will not have to worry about fighting for space with daily pool pass patrons Both hotels offer a full bar and great food on their rooftops If you want the best view and dont mind crowds go for the Movich If you prefer a quiet place with lots of room go for the Bastion Please leave me a comment if you have any other questions about either of these hotels If you enjoyed this video please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel You can follow along on more of my adventures on Instagram httpstinyurl comy8qa7wz6 Blog httpwww whereivebeenwandering com Music by Clouds by Joakim Karud httpsoundcloud comjoakimkarud Music promoted by Audio Library httpsyoutu beYrvBTBmqVPE
