3 days in Taxco Guerrero was like a magical fairytale I can honestly say it was the most mesmerising and most beautiful place in Mexico that Ive visited From taking the cable car to riding in a sturdy VW Beetle to the Cristo Monument to getting lost eating churros and learning about Taxcos past as a silver mining town I fell totally in love with this city 3 hours south of Mexico City Taxco will surprise you Taxco will take your breath away Welcome to the the most Magical Pueblo Mgico of all of the Pueblo Mgicos Taxco Guerrero Located just a couple of hours from Mexico City Taxco is built upon a beautiful mountainside It truly looks like something out of a dream When you are walking the streets of Taxco you feel like you have stepped back in time White with red tiled roof buildings the streets are cobblestone and the taxis look like VW Bugs from the 1950s There are surprises awaiting you around every corner and callejon Where to stay What to do How to get there When to visit What to eat Everything in the blog httpswww foodfashionparty com202302043 days in taxco 3 DAYS IN TAXCO CITY ITINERARY DAY 1 Start your morning walking near the zoccolo and take your pictures before a lot of traffic comes by The most picturesque place is the right of the Zoccolo Morning walk to get pic at the turnabout Address Guillermo Spratling 4 Centro Have breakfast at Rosa AmarantoMexicano for breakfast Walk and see Zoccolo Take your time and walk the streets do not get your silver in the main zocollo it is way too expensive Just get the feel of the town Lunch at La Parroquia GREAT view of cathedral The food is ok but the view makes up for it Then walk to the Silver mine and get a tour of the Mina mine tour Dinner Tia Calla pozoleria pozole DAY 2 Breakfast Casa Spratling Take taxi to go see Christ statue You can spend as much or little time there Alot about 30 minutes there Ask the taxi driver to take you to the cable car to Monte Taxco Hotel Take Cable car to Monte Taxco hotel have drinks and snacks soak in the stunning views Id say the sunset hours are beautiful Once it get dark its not as much fun So 3 6 is perfect Come down If you come down early go silver shopping Tianguis de Los platoros The shops close by 6 so make sure to give ample time Dinner Restaurante Flor De La Vida DAY 3 Breakfast at any place you prefer but get out early to go to the waterfalls Youll spend about half day there Come back freshen and go to the silver workshop and call it a day Happy Good mood courtesy Mezcal and Silver shopping ENJOY taxco mexicocity mexico mexicotravelguide mexicotravel taxcotravel 3daytravelguide
